Stephen has been a contributing member of the King County Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC) since being appointed by King County Executive Dow Constantine in March 2012. Issues covered include transfer stations and landfill stewardship.
Stephen has spent over twenty years working in technology. Specializing in Artificial Intelligence applications, Stephen's career includes software development, professional services, teaching, technical sales support, and project management.
Stephen has both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech, respectively. He also received a MBA through NYIT's online program with concentrations in Strategy and Finance. He continues to add to his education by taking classes at Bellevue College.
Stephen's wife of thirteen years, Amy, is a Director of Marketing at Microsoft. She's a graduate of Notre Dame (Electrical Engineering and English) and Chicago (MBA).
